Even though Hana had polio as a child and has some ongoing challenges because of it, she has persevered so well. She is able to work and sells ice at a local market. Her husband works as a night guard at a local housing complex. However, because of the pandemic, his shifts were cut down to only twice a week. The decrease in work, and therefore, salary has put a financial strain on their family. Their family is so thankful for the food packages they have received during the pandemic that has helped their family make ends meet.
