Mr. Gede is 41 years old and lives in the city of Denpasar, Bali with his wife, son, and mother. Mr. Gede works as a motorbike taxi. However, in April 2021, he was in a motorbike accident which broke his leg. Due to this injury, Mr. Gede temporarily cannot work. While he is waiting for a full recovery to return to work, his wife has begun working in order to provide for their family’s daily needs.
After the accident, Mr. Gede had surgery on his leg and was unable to walk. Mr. Gede was essentially bed bound and required assistance from his wife to move around their home.
The ALB Mobility Team provided Mr. Gede a wheelchair and began making regular visits to his house to encourage him and help him with mobility exercises. As Mr. Gede has recovered, he is now able to walk using crutches.
We hope that Mr. Gede will have a full and speedy recovery and be able to return to work and full actives quickly.
