Faozakrah is a 12- year old girl with cerebral palsy. She lives in a faraway village with her parents and younger brother. Her family is poor and far from health care, so she has never received therapy. Fao is smart but just started elementary school two years ago. She has even learned to write using her feet!
Our team gave Fao her first wheelchair, and now her family and friends can push her to school. Previously, her mother had to carry Fao in her arms. We have just begun therapy to help her further develop her motor skills and are training Fao’s mother to help her with these therapy exercises. Fao hopes that one day she may be able to walk. Fao and her mother are so thankful for the help and equipment we have given them.
