More than 200 residents reside in this community and access water for their daily needs from a system that brings water from a nearby spring to a storage tank above the village. However, the water supply from this spring is insufficient to meet the daily needs of this community.
Dharma Laksana provides housing and education for 50 children and staff. This facility has access to a well on their property, but water from this well has visible particles and is not suitable for drinking
The Mi'Rojussalam Islamic Boarding School is located in West Lombok and has a total of 70 students attend this school, 30 of whom live at this facility. The school has a well located on the property that supplies water for drinking, cooking, and bathing needs, however, the water is not suitable for drinking.
The As-Sa'idiyah Islamic Boarding School in North Lombok has more than 80 students and faculty that live at this facility. A well on the property serves as their only water source; however, it is not potable.

This village received water from an irrigation ditch twice a week. The water was stored in makeshift bamboo/tarp water tanks and used throughout the week.
During dry season in this west Lombok community, women walked 1/2 mile to a dammed up section of a river to get water and carry it back to their homes in containers on their heads.
This fishing village had wells dug by the government many years ago. However, during dry season the wells become “salty” due to to the close proximity to the ocean.
This village was also impacted by the 2018 earthquakes and the Access Life Water Team was asked to come and survey their water situation with the hope of a long term solution.
This village was near the epicenter of the 2018 earthquakes that struck Lombok. The village already had access to water, however, the piping network was simply placed on top of the ground and multiple leaks had occurred due to the condition of aging and damaged pipe.
This village is located adjacent to our first project in the Pangsing area, but far enough away that they were not able to enjoy the benefits of the initial project. We were able to work with this small community to replace a 300 meter hose that was used to provide water from a well to this portion fo the village with actual water pipe.
